True surrender is a characteristic of highly evolved beings. It aligns itself with source energy and responsibly opens itself to the unknown. Ego, on the other hand, believes that it needs to protect us from external dangers. Through control, justification, and manipulation, it aims to protect and keep us safe. This need of the ego is based on fear. If we desire to live in love, peace, and harmony, we must become acquainted with our soul and source energy. Experiencing soul and source energy brings a deep knowing that we live in a loving and peaceful universe. This also builds faith and trust. We learn to trust that we don’t have to run the show. And when we do this, we tap into the source of true freedom, love, peace, and joy.
